Crowley as the charming, occult savant

Aleister Crowley as a temptor/temptress must have been quite a shock to the Golden Dawn members. This year's celebration of A.C.'s birthday, October 12, was particularly lewd and lascivious. In the 16th Aethyr, VVVVV heard the voice say:

"For I, being a woman, lust ever to mate myself with some beast. And this is the salvation of the world, that always I am deceived by some god, and that my child is the guardian of the labyrinth that hath two-and-seventy paths."

So mote it be.
