Origins of Sex Magick

"As you may know, many historians point to The Hermetic Brotherhood of Luxor as the fountainhead of western sex magick. Careful examination of the related texts indicate that most of the material represents the Orthodox Jewish Talmudic teachings about sex. Actually, these documents come from an earlier time when Henry VIII of England sent his ministers and scholars to Italy to consult with experts in Talmudic law in order to find Biblical teachings which would support Henry's divorce and creation of the Church of England.
"This is the context in which John Dee received his angelic transmissions and the key to the subject of "the war in Heaven" which runs throughout his works. Further details of this doctrine are revealed repeatedly throughout the English rennaisance and have been well documented by scholar and Gnostic Saint Francis Yates."
